These Terms of Use ("Terms") define the terms and conditions relating to your usage of the Leapnverse, a blockchain-enabled platform for Virtual Worlds and Virtual Land Plots (defined below).
The Leapnverse is owned by and operated by LeapN (defined below).
The Terms are subject to updates and amendments from time to time as the Leapnverse is an online software that is constantly being developed and upgraded with new features. It is your duty to refer to the Leapnverse website at https://leapn.life to access the latest version of these Terms.
The Terms regulate and govern your rights to access and interact with the Leapnverse, including the enjoyment of any content, functionality, and services offered for or through the Leapnverse.
By using Leapnverse, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms, and our Privacy Policy, which can be found at the Leapnverse official website at https://leapn.life/privacy.
"Leapnverse", "LeapNverse", LeapN", "Founders Deed", "Founders Deed World", "Luxe Plots", "LeapN Royal VIP", "GoldN VIP", "Next Gen Plots", and "Machine Elves NFT" are trademarks of LeapN.
LeapN owns the intellectual property of all literature, artwork, music, videos, code, plans, technology and other software created by LeapN as part of the Leapnverse, including, but not limited to LeapN's customized face tracking software, LeapN's software development kit (SDK), LeapN's in-browser tools, Leapnverse marketplace, Leapnverse payment solutions, Leapnverse avatars and profile picture builders, customized animations created by LeapN, the Leapnverse dashboard for Virtual World and Virtual Land Plot token holders, the LeapN website, the LeapN developer portal (and all code published as samples within).
Ownership of the Founders Deed tokens, Founders Deed World tokens and Virtual Land Plot tokens do not imply the ownership of any of LeapN's servers, code, or intellectual property.
The Leapnverse is designated as proprietary software belonging to LeapN and may not be reverse engineered or hacked by users.
User-generated content and assets are owned by the users who created the assets.
Users who create content, games and structures within the Leapnverse grant a worldwide unlimited license to LeapN to reproduce images and videos of the said content, games and structures for purposes of promoting or describing the Leapnverse.
LeapN reserves the right to remove user-created content, games and structures which infringe on any laws or third party rights or which in LeapN's opinion is likely to encourage violence or hatred against any group.
By accessing the Leapnverse platform, you represent and warrant that:
Tokens sold by LeapN that are described in the token metadata as representing an entire virtual world ("Virtual World") include the Founders Deeds tokens (which represent "Founders Deeds World").
Virtual Worlds may at the sole discretion of LeapN be divided into a number of smaller land plots ("Virtual Land Plots").
A user may apply to exchange his Virtual World tokens for a number of Virtual Land Plot tokens at the discretion of LeapN. LeapN does not guarantee that such applications will be accepted.
Tokens sold by LeapN that are described in the token metadata as representing a virtual land plot set within a Virtual World ("Virtual Land Plot") include the Alpha Next Gen Plots tokens (which represent "Next Gen Plots") and the Luxe Plots tokens ("Luxe Plots").
A user may apply to exchange a number of Virtual Land Plot tokens for a single Virtual World token at the discretion of LeapN. LeapN does not guarantee that such applications will be accepted.
Tokens sold by LeapN which are described in the token metadata as a "LeapN Royal VIP Badge" or "GoldN VIP Badge" grant certain access rights and privileges to the user, as follows:
LeapN Royal VIP Badge privileges: (a) Future LeapN Token airdrop; (b) Exclusive access to VIP areas of the tropical-beach-style LeapN Luxury Resort World, with play-to-earn mini-games; (c) Special VIP name highlight for user's player avatar across LeapN; (d) Access to the prestigious LeapN Astral Gallery, and (e) Access to LeapN's Gamified Auction House
GoldN VIP Badge privileges: (a) All the privileges of the LeapN Royal VIP Badge; (b) access to build on a respective GoldN Plot; (c) ability to rent out LeapN's otherworldly LeapN Convention Center.
Machine Elves are a collection of 5,555 ERC721 tokens which give the token holder the right to use a profile picture depicted in the said token. Additional utility may be provided to Machine Elves token holders depending on the management decision of LeapN.
JumpN Jetpacks are a collection of ERC-1155 tokens which give the token holder the right to use a jetpack in compatible LeapN Virtual Worlds and Virtual Land Plots, depicted in the said token.
Owners of Virtual World tokens and Virtual Land Plot tokens have the right to access the Virtual World or Virtual Land Plot associated with the token(s) and to build and develop structures and experiences within the said Virtual World or Virtual Land Plot.
The tokens define the area within the Leapnverse that may be built on, developed, managed, and shaped by a token holder.
Owners of Machine Elves are allowed to use the image of the Machine Elves as their profile pictures in various social media platforms. In addition, token holders of Machine Elves have the right to create derivative art works from their Machine Elves tokens but may only sell them as NFTs.
Token holders of Machine Elves may, subject to any rigging charges and gas fees, request LeapN to create a rigged 3D avatar bearing the likeness of the said Machine Elves token which may be used by the token holder as an avatar within the Leapnverse.
Possession of a Virtual World token or Virtual Land Plot token allow its token holder, or persons authorized by the token holder, to create virtual structures such as buildings and other props within the associated Virtual World or Virtual Land Plot and to program functionality within such structures.
Token holder's right to build and develop structures within the Virtual Worlds and / or Virtual Land Plots are subject to LeapN's policies regarding acceptable use cases.
Leapnverse is offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older.
Virtual Worlds and Virtual Land Plots cannot be downloaded by their token holders.
Machine Elves NFT token holders may use a 3D rigged version of their Machine Elves NFT within the Leapnverse if LeapN has created a 3D version for the said token holder. Rigging charges and gas fees will apply.
For now, Leapnverse can be accessed through popular modern web browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Access to the Leapnverse platform may at a later date require the download and installation of software published by LeapN.
The Leapnverse platform is currently not available for children below the age of 18 years.
Users may be unable to access Leapnverse during maintenance and upgrades of the software and/or hardware infrastructure for the Leapnverse (or parts thereof).
LeapN reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend a user's account in response to complaints lodged against a user. Accounts which are suspended may be restricted from accessing one or more Virtual World(s) or Virtual Land Plot(s).
LeapN plans to allow users to use virtual wearables with their avatars and to customize their avatars. However, the technology is still being developed and may not yet be available to all users.
LeapN plans to allow users to use face tracking technology for animation of avatars. However, the technology is still being developed and may not yet be available to all users.
Any payments made within any Virtual World or Virtual Land Plot will be conducted primarily using the Ethereum blockchain. Payments are calculated in Ethereum. If you make any mistake in sending your payment to a wrong wallet address, you are solely responsible for such mistake.
At LeapN's discretion, payment for transactions within the Leapnverse may be made available using other digital currencies (such as Polygon), credit card, or third party payment processors such as PayPal and Stripe.
You may be required to provide details of your identity in order to use the Leapnverse platform.
You may be required to sign up for a user account using email as well as to link your Ethereum address before you can activate your user account on the Leapnverse platform.
You may be requested to provide details of your affiliation with any brands that you advertise or promote within the Leapnverse platform (in response to complaints).
As the number of Leapnverse Virtual Worlds and Virtual Land Plots grow, we expect that certain brands or organizations may wish to set up an official "home" in the Leapnverse. We plan to offer verification for Virtual Worlds or Virtual Land Plots which are run by certain brands or organizations. Verified status will be shown through a special badge such as a sticker on the description of the said Leapnverse Virtual World or Virtual Land Plot.
Users who wish to have their user accounts marked as verified will be required to comply with LeapN's verification process and provide personal identity documentation, in addition to telephone number, email, and Ethereum wallet. The user's Ethereum wallet may be required to sign a transaction to prove that the Ethereum wallet is controlled by the said user.
LeapN operates the Leapnverse metaverse platform as a business. By using the Leapnverse platform, you understand and accept that LeapN offers (or plans to offer) various services as a way to generate profits to support the on-going operations of the Leapnverse Virtual Worlds and Virtual Land Plots.
LeapN offers a marketplace for third party service providers to provide services to token holders as well as other Leapnverse users.
There are various risks when using the Leapnverse platform. By using the Leapnverse platform, you accept that:
You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend LeapN against any claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, arising from your use of the Leapnverse platform.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them.
